Bibles For Ft. Meade Chapels

The U.S. Army Chapels At Ft. Meade

A new working relatioship has been established between the Senior Chaplain of Ft. Meade and the Maryland Bible Society.  In a cooperative effort Maryland Bible Society has arranged for 450 Bibles to be purchased for the three base Chapels at Ft. Meade at a very low cost.  Each Bible was gold stamped with the name of the Chapel where it will be placed at no cost to the Chaplains.  Chaplain Punke, Senior Chaplain working with Rev. Daniel L. Force, Director of Development of the Bible Society helped to make this addition of brand new New International Version Bibles for Ft. Meade to facilitate the work of all the Chaplains at the base.  Maryland Bible Society has also agreed to provide Bibles for soldiers at Ft. Meade at the request of the various base Chaplains.
